The Isuzu D-MAX

The Isuzu D-MAX ute is one of the world’s most popular and well reputed one-tonne ute and cab chassis ranges, the current model of which is now available in Australia through a network of dedicated ‘Isuzu UTE’ dealers. Designed in Japan, the all new Isuzu D-MAX ute is the latest conventional cab one-tonne light truck model line from Isuzu - a global leader in truck and diesel engine manufacture. Powered exclusively by Isuzu’s premium, high-tech, common-rail 3.0-litre turbo-diesel engine and delivering strong performance with up to 360Nm of torque, the D-MAX ute range includes single and crew cab utes or cab chassis and 4x2 and 4x4 drive trains. Isuzu D-MAX is the most fuel frugal one tonne ute in 4x4 form and in 4x2 is only pipped by one of several 2.5ltr models. Uniquely in its class, the Isuzu D-MAX cab chassis platform has a dedicated longer-than-ute wheelbase to optimize special body fitment and load balance.

Exterior D-MAX's chunky good looks hint at its huge performance potential. Sculptured bonnet lines sweep forward past the wide turbo-intercooler air scoop - D-MAX's proper power bulge - and down by the grille, integrating the lower front air intake into the front bumper design. Short front overhang, a high riding and wide track stance and flared wheel arches framing 16" alloy wheels complete D-MAX LS's assertive design signature.

Interior Dark charcoal, black and grey tones lend sophistication to the roomy and comfortable interior of D-MAX. LS has satin alloy headlights on dash centre stack, outer vents, auto-trans quadrant and on door pull trim caps.
